Union Minister for the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Wah Wah Maung, received a delegation led by Mr. Norimasa Shimomura, the New Myanmar Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this morning at Office No. 1 of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.

During the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed the effective and efficient implementation of the extension of the UNDP's Enabling Community Recovery and Resilience (ENCORE) project in Myanmar as a response to the damage caused by the earthquake and future plans for continued cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Union Minister's Office, the Director General of the Foreign Economic Relations Department, senior officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, and representatives from the UNDP office in Myanmar.
